Episode 012, Bell Peppers

This is an exciting week for the Kinds of Cooking podcast, Curtis has abandoned Justin, leaving him to fend for himself ... But not really! This week Justin's friend Jim steps in for Curtis while he attends his sisters college graduation. The ingredient this week is bell pepper, Justin goes with a fairly traditional dish and makes chicken fajitas and Jim goes outside of the box making a bell pepper cheese steak. How did it turn out? Well there's only one GOOD way to find out!

Listen to the episode here:

This week Justin makes fajitas, but the picture does not lie, he did them in the over! Listen to the episode to see how it came out (hint: yum).

You can find the recipe and try your own baked fajitas by clicking here!

Jim was creative and really brought his A-Game for his first guest host appearance. Do the bell pepper cheese steaks warrant a return visit???

As always, we have a Facebook group so search for Kinds of Cooking and request to join!

  2. NOT what I expected!!!! I’ve listen to the podcast since day one. There is usually about 4 of us that listen to the podcast together, but about 4 minutes into this podcast. I was the only one left the room. The over all comment was, “This is not the podcast we enjoy hearing.” And to be real, I didn’t enjoy it at all. This guest host, seemed to be a Debbie downer. He totally did the opposite of encouraging me to cook or try new things. I LOVE hearing Justin and Curtis go back and forth, encourage each other’s cooking and suggesting other ingredient to use. Guess hosts are awesome and add variety to the show but this guy, made me not want to eat for a month!!!! No BUENO!!

    1. Thank you for the feedback, Linda. I am sorry the episode didn't live up to what you have come to expect, but rest assured that Curtis is back this week and we will continue to encourage each other to make great food. The plan isn't to have a guest host all the time, so I hope you continue to give us a chance!
